MS TEAMS: webinar training sessions

Many BC School Districts use Teams for communication within and across schools and/or as a learning management system to support teaching and learning (including in blended, online, flipped classroom or in-person teaching). If you are in a classroom or school using Teams, please RSVP to help you start thinking about how you will use Teams. 

Join one or both of the approx 60 – 90 minute webinar sessions that will include plenty of examples and  will introduce Teacher Candidates to MS Teams for Education and help prepare you for using MS Teams in school districts across British Columbia.. Join live for an opportunity to ask your questions – during live webcast, you can stop and pause the live feed to self-pace.  Facilitated by the MS Education Team who also work with our local school districts to implement Teams!

Teams for Education – Level 100 Fri. Jan. 28th 9-10am; Mon. Jan. 31st 4-5pm

• Get started with Microsoft Teams for Education and learn how it brings conversations, content, and apps together in one place. With Teams, educators can create collaborative classrooms, connect in professional learning communities, and communicate with students and staff. This introductory training teaches attendees about the core elements of Teams for Education, including how to navigate the app, create different types of teams, stay connected with chat, and schedule and manage a live online meeting.

Teams for Education – Level 200 Fri. Feb 4th 10 – 11:30am (most appropriate for those who attended or viewed Level 100 and/or who have some familiarity with Teams for Education already)

• Learn more about how teachers use Teams as a learning management system. In this training, get oriented to a class teams environment, learn how to organize class conversations and content, launch apps and engage students in learning using Teams.

All recordings will be available to those who RSVP even if you are unable to attend live.
