A Learn to Code ‘club’ starts on Tuesday, January 12th and will be ongoing on Tuesdays for the next month or so… or until we all get too busy or lose interest or just ‘learn all there is to learn’ ;D
We’ll be accessing resources and tutorials available free online that you could then plan to use with your class. In addition to learning to code, we’ll discuss and learn about ways to integrate coding across the curriculum and across grade levels.
- When: 10:30 – 11:30 Tuesdays
- Where: Scarfe 155 (through the education library)
*If you can’t join us f2f and would like to follow along on your own, watch this blog for a series of ‘Coding Club’ postings. We’ll include links and examples and invite you to share your questions and ideas via ‘commenting’ on the blog post.
We’re going to “play through” some lessons and activities in the studio on Code.org and make some stuff work using MIT’s ‘Scratch’ and will share how it’s going.
