Khan Academy is a web-based, online repository of short and mini-lectures in the form of YouTube videos. Users can view content on a variety of subjects: math, science, engineering, etc. Tools are comprehensive and interactive, and presentations are divided by topics (i.e. arithmetic, algebra, trigonometry) and grade level (i.e. K-2, K-3).

The mini-lectures in Khan Academy allow the user to engage with the media in a traditional chalk and board discussion according to his or her pace. Both teachers and students can either follow the comprehensive content sequence as treated in the lecture or choose freely any content to view at any time. The lecture presentations are suited for students who want to concentrate on the details of the content without being distracted by complex mixed of movements, animations, and sounds in a typical video lectures and simulations.

2. From Dashboard, you can complete your profile, monitor the badges and progress you have, join in the discussion, create projects or interact with your coaches/teachers and parents registered in your specific class or course. Click on “start learning” to choose a topic to explore.
