Softron is a web-based software that can be used for formative or summative assessment. It helps teachers administer tests to students as it generates results and student data. It can also be used as an in-class instant response and summative feedback tool.
Softron helps teachers save time by uploading a digital or scanned copy of their pre-existing test instead of re-creating their pre-existing test within the website. These tests can be in any format such as (Word, PDF, JPEG).
While formal tests are not emphasized to the same degree in the current BC curriculum, quizzes and tests can still provide valuable information as part of a carefully designed program of triangulated assessment.
